What is the operator's management fee (base fee)?
The management fee, or base fee, is the operator's fixed compensation, calculated as a percentage of everything the asset bills. It is their payment for running day-to-day operations, whether the project profits or not.
It is the stable part of their compensation: it covers their structure, their team, and their time, regardless of the month's result.
Example: in July 2026 the base fee was $481,590 COP, equal to 7% of gross short-term rental revenue, plus VAT of $91,502. It is paid even while the operation is still at a loss.
