What is output VAT?
Output VAT is the tax charged to the customer on top of the price and later remitted to the government. It was never the project's income: the project only collects it and passes it on.
That is why it is reported separately. Adding it to revenue would artificially inflate the asset's performance with money that does not belong to it.
Example: in the report, output VAT was $1,685,685 COP, exactly the same in June and July 2026. That is because it comes from the commercial unit's lease, a fixed monthly amount.
