They are three benefits Law 1715 of 2014 grants renewable projects: deducting part of the investment from income tax, depreciating equipment faster than usual, and skipping VAT on eligible equipment.
Example: they are not automatic — the project has to be filed with UPME and certified before the equipment is bought.
